The Don Bosco Centre

The Don Bosco Centre is:

  • A multipurpose space that can be transformed into a dining area, social area, or for activities.

  • Self-catered and there is a kitchenette for the preparation of light meals​.

  • Equipped with a projector and speaker system.

The Don Bosco Centre is suitable for:

  • Short term residential group stays (maximum of 6 nights).

  • Secondary school groups of up to 24 young people (4 bunk room dormitories - males and females to be separate) and 4 adults (single rooms)​. For reasons of safeguarding, school groups with both male and female students must have at least one male and one female teacher staying overnight.

  • Day bookings for catechetical use (please enquire for further information).

Other information:

  • The Don Bosco Centre is located in the home of the Salesian community of Battersea, and visiting groups are welcomed by a priest or a brother.

  • The chapel is available for reflection and we ask that prior arrangements are made with a member of the Salesian community to ensure availability.

  • We do not provide language courses or language exchange programs for school groups. To make arrangements with St John Bosco College please contact info@sjbc.wandsworth.sch.uk.

  • We do not provide retreat programmes. However, groups are welcome to make their own arrangements.

  • We are not a public hostel facility.
