To use public transportation (bus and underground) you will need to purchase an oyster card or travel card from an Underground station. Please note buses do not take cash!

Gatwick

The train station is located in the South Terminal of Gatwick airport. Take a train into London that stops at Clapham Junction. From Clapham Junction, you can: walk (20 minutes), take a bus (10 minutes), or a taxi (5-10 minutes).

To travel by bus, from Clapham Junction Station Falcon Road (Stop E) take bus 49/319/345 to Prince of Wales Drive (Stop LV). Once you have arrived at Prince of Wales Drive (Stop LV) continue walking in the direction of bus travel. Take the first left into Surrey Lane and follow the road until you reach Salesian House which will be on your left.

 

Heathrow

At the airport, follow the signs to the Underground. Take the Piccadilly Line to Gloucester Road Station. From Gloucester Road, take the 49 bus from Stop GZ (Cromwell Road) towards Clapham Junction (25-30minutes), and get off at Petworth Street (Stop BF). Salesian House is a 3 minute walk away. Continue walking in the direction of bus travel and turn first right into Surrey Lane. Salesian House is on the left hand side.

 

Luton

Take the National Express (A1) coach to London Victoria (Rail Station). From Victoria, take the 170 bus towards Roehampton from Stop G (Victoria Rail Station) and get off at Sunbury Lane (Stop H). Salesian House is a 5 minute walk away: Turn left down Sunbury Lane and continue onto Granfield Street. Follow the road round to the left (Parkham Street) until you reach Surrey Lane and Salesian House on your right.

 

Stansted

Take the National Express (A7) to London Victoria (Rail Station) and take the 170 bus as from Luton (see above).

 

Alternatively, take a train to Tottenham Hale from Stansted. At Tottenham Hale, take the London Underground (Victoria Line) towards Brixton. Exit at Victoria and take the 170 bus to Salesian House (see above).
